Cookie Policy
Effective October 18, 2026. Saturview is operated by AnovaGrowth.
Short version: Saturview uses only the cookies and storage it needs to work. No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
1. What Saturview stores in your browser
Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to keep. Local storage and session storage are similar places in your browser where a site can keep a little information. This page covers all of them.
Saturview uses only items that are needed to run the site or that you asked for by using a feature. We don’t use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party scripts, and our fonts are served from our own site, so no other company sets cookies through Saturview’s pages.
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| saturview_session | Cookie, first party | Keeps you signed in. Your browser cannot read it with scripts, and it is only sent to Saturview. | 30 days, or until you sign out |
| saturview_in | Cookie, first party | Remembers that this browser was signed in, so the right header is drawn at once. It holds only yes, nothing about you, and is removed when the session ends. | 30 days, or until you sign out |
| saturview_challenge | Cookie, first party | Ties a one-time sign-up or password code to the browser that asked for it. | 10 minutes |
| saturview_consent | Cookie, first party | Remembers your cookie choice so we don’t ask on every page. | 12 months |
| saturview:followed-team | Local storage | Remembers the team you chose to follow on this device. Set only when you pick a team. | Until you change it or clear your browser data |
| Saturview notifications | Service worker and browser push subscription | Lets your browser show Saturview notifications about the team you chose. Set only when you click to turn notifications on, and your browser asks you first. The push address and your team are also kept on our server, as the Privacy Policy explains. | Until you turn notifications off, block them in your browser or clear site data |
| saturview:newton-conversation:… | Local storage when signed in, session storage otherwise | Keeps your Ask Newton conversation on this device (the last 40 messages, up to about 60 KB), so it is still there when you come back. Set only when you ask Newton something. Clear conversation in Ask Newton deletes it. | Each message for up to 30 days, until you clear the conversation or sign out. Without a sign-in, until you close the tab. |
All of these are strictly necessary, or exist only because you used the feature they support, so the law does not require your consent for them. Turning them off in your browser will stop sign-in or those features from working.
If our hosting provider’s security system challenges a visit, for example during unusual traffic, it may set its own strictly necessary cookie to remember that your browser passed the check.
2. Optional cookies
There are none today. The cookie banner still lets you accept or reject optional cookies, and we keep your answer, so that if we ever add something optional, such as analytics, it starts off for anyone who said no.
Before we add anything optional, we will list it here and ask everyone again with the details, including people who already chose “Accept all”. Nothing optional will load before you agree to it.
3. Your choices
You can review or change your choice at any time with Cookie settings, here or in the footer of our main pages.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a “no” to every optional cookie and don’t show the banner, because your browser has already answered.
Your browser settings. You can also delete or block cookies and site data in your browser. If you block the strictly necessary ones, you won’t be able to sign in.
4. More information
The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information more broadly. Questions about cookies: newton@saturview.app.
